ProTraining.comTM Signs Agreement with the Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association to Deliver Online Training for Concrete Cutting Operators
EDMONTON, Alberta, January 10, 2007 ProTraining.comTM in partnership with the Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association are pleased to announce online training and testing for concrete cutting operators is now available through ProTraining.com.
The CSDA Online Training Program was pioneered by a CSDA contractor-member, Don Moroz of Derrick Concrete Cutting and Construction Ltd., in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Moroz wanted to make the CSDA videos into a safety program with a test that he could give to his employees in all four branches. The Occupational Health and Safety Department of the Canadian government has placed a great importance on initial orientation and training for employees on any pieces of equipment that they use and they fine those companies that do not have some kind of training program in place. Moroz worked with ProTraining.com on the videos and the tests and now requires every employee to review the videos and achieve a score of 100 percent before proceeding to the next video.
"ProTraining.com provides all of the testing, scoring and documentation for our employees which takes a load off my office managers to track testing and recording of results," said Moroz. "Online training has made training possible for me as we never could have afforded the time off or the money required to get all of our operators certified by CSDA," he added. "Certainly the course does not compare to a week-long certification course but it is a way to get started."
